Satan's Prophet's Book Three. We begin here.

Okay, I will admit I have been in a trippy state of reality as of late, it seems like eons since I sat with my laptop and worked on my book series Satan’s Prophets. My dreams of being acknowledged as a great writer have turned into a bitter nightmare as I sleep on streets of forgotten lore as southern gentleman diagnosed with love for no one but an untouchable image I have been forced to adore since my earliest of childhoods. I am beaten, smitten, lost but found and struggling to find the innocents that made me write about Innocent the stripper in the first place. As I find the truth in the error of my fascination with what I once perceived as beauty I think now would be the perfect time to tell you as an artist I am about to approach a level of pure joy whether I am “felt” or not. I need no approval right now I just need to feel human. I will take my faults. Raven can say at this point when everything is uncertain that she no longer cares but where is the challenge in that? I was told to rise above....even when the pain seems too much. I can no longer ignore the voice that calls me to be a leader not a follower. That’s all this was to me. I want to take down the leader of the leaders. But then what? Where do I go? It seems so unfun now I know. To just give up all we have ever known be so private with our joys. I want to expand the defeat you see in me and show you how I am smiling at you at all. I am truly allowing you to see the dark side of my charm. You can’t be that much cooler than me can you?
When we last left off in this “book” my lawyer Vincent McArthur The Third’s leg was blown off and naked women were dancing to Bodak Yellow a rap song that Raven was promoting on her more adult friendly pages. Next thing I know I am murdered in a strip club. This fantasy tale was growing way out of hand and what started out as just me trying to create a hero in my eyes made me hate who I was becoming. Raven is a force I know. She is not a Goddess though. She is a woman with big ideas and every platform doesn’t need to be tarnished because one woman spoke. She is like a Joan of Arc, She can see what no one else sees. I always know what she knows. She speaks and has no regard for anyone at times. I don’t know if her wrath is directed at me. I am here to tell a story and my relationship with Raven will stay personal. I just want those that read and follow me to know that I am not here to leave and I will finish this superhero story. I am trying my hardest to make Satan’s Prophets a reality. I have been beaten, locked up, told I could never be apart of society. Let this dreamer tell you a story. That’s all I want to do. Tell you a story.

Satan’s Prophet’s Book Three: When Doves Cry (The Wonder Years)

Vincent woke up in his plush king size bed in New York yelling at the top of his lungs. He was a sweaty mess. His hair was damp and he knew he would have to spend the entire morning getting his bang just right. It was pitch black in the room he reached out towards his nightstand and his hand fumbled to find his vape. He noticed his alarm clock as he gripped his instrument for smoking it was only two in the morning. He reached for his leg...it was still there. But he did have bruises. The beating was real. Hawk was real. The wish was real….but…

“Good morning Vincent,” A lighter flicked in the room and the Prince could be seen lighting a cigarette. He looked tired as the huge flame from the lighter highlighted his face.
“Morning you say? What is this Prince? Where is Mildred,” Vincent asked in angst.
“She is in the bathroom freshening up. My wife delivered her here just in time. You know Vincent you could really be a bother sometimes.”
Vincent stood out of the bed and balled his fist. “I am only asking you one more time. What the hell is going on?”
“Time Vincent. Time is what is happening. I am running out of time. I am running out of love. I am running out of prophecy. I am running….”
“Out of love?”
“This shit is affecting my love life. We did something pretty big Vincent. Another Dimension a big job. The Orginials they are after us. Me specifically. You read my mind I gave you a dream. I saved your leg….”
“That weak ass X-Men rip off was the best dream you could come up with? Marcus. Dear Marcus...we are talking the end of the world. What happened to me? What is this?”
The bathroom door opened and the room lit up a bit The Prince walked to the window and Vincent noticed the Prince was holding skateboard in his hand. The Prince opened the window as he used his powers to make the board levitate controlling the metal trucks. He then slid out of Vincent’s home as Innocent aka Mildred Baxter Douglas McGee walked out of Vincent’s bathroom wearing a pants suit and high heels.
Vincent stood staring at the woman that caused the feud between he and his partners on Satan’s team of detectives. Now it seemed they were in even more trouble than he could possibly imagine. He didn’t know what to say to her. Her fake body just made him feel odd she wore no wig. Her blonde hair went down to her shoulders. It almost looked white in the bedroom. She smirked at Vincent in his boxers.
The tension was thick. Vincent wanted to be clever but so much information had hit him at once. He really knew nothing at all. He took a step towards Mildred. He felt his knees buckle.
Innocent spread her arms beckoning him to come closer.
Vincent was lost. He felt he was water swirling down a drain. Something told him he would never see The Prince again. He was in New York. He rarely used this condo he wondered what had transpired to travel from a fight with Van in Georgia to the high stakes of New York City.
“Mildred what do you know,”Vincent asked.
“I know all about it Vincent. All about it. We’re in grave danger.”
Mildred motioned with her hands for him to come closer.
“What do you know about the Originals,”Vincent inquired.
“They are after our children,” Mildred said with a deep sad sigh.

May we pause reader to remind you of the stakes. What do you truly know reader? You know she was taken by Raven. You know she used to date Vincent. You know Satan is trying to stop the end of the world. But the preview of Book two from book one hasn’t happened yet has it. Aaliyah going to Heaven. And this is Book three. Well my friend I changed a lot of things as a mastermind. Raven giving the key to letting Aaliyah fly...how did this happen. I will tell you now. Let’s leave Vincent here a moment. Let’s talk about the first time I met Raven’s father. Let’s talk about why Vincent and Innocent are the way they are. Let’s travel to the wonder years.

The last recent moment we had between the couple The Prince and Raven Raven had found a phone given to him by Van. The Prince and Raven also had a brief connection before she was turned into a porn star image in the meeting with Hawk. These tales are piling up. Some no longer matter to me and Raven but you the Reader must be dying to know. Then Vincent. Well, he and Mildred. The deep dark secret. What did they do that Vincent can’t touch her? Who is controlling who?

Present day

The stallion galloped across the desert sand. Raven wasn’t exactly lost but the trail was growing cold. She could barely pick up any signs of the code. She had left everything. Satan, her kids, her husband, she lived in the wild she was running from the web she controlled seperating herself from it all and as she fled she  realized she was never there at all. She needed flesh. She needed to eat living flesh. The world was running from her. The web was trapping her and she no longer cared what blood she dined on. She rode her horse into the night. Dust behind her. Chasing her own source code. Who programmed her?

A voice whispered into her ears under her bonnet. It was Satan. He begged her to stop. This time she did. Like I said the trail was growing cold.

“Where can you run? Attempting to slaughter the last of the humans will help no one. We take the program you created to the mothership and everything is fine. The plan is done. We have people ready to go to Heaven and take over. You are my star pupil now the Prince is most wanted by the Hispanics, the Asians, and the children...what of the children Raven?”
Raven stopped the gallop of the horse and listened to the hiss of Satan’s voice. She had no answer. She wanted more power, He said there was none. She didn’t believe him.
“No one will find you here,”The voice of Satan said.
“Is that a threat,” Raven asked.
There was no answer. The sun began rising as dawn started in the dune. She couldn’t believe it was all a program. Nothing after her. She was just a jester for a very evil king. She hated herself for thinking it was worthy to kill on jealous accord but tell children one person could control things forever. God. Devil. Man. Woman. She had betrayed her family. Now her husband was searching for her with an entire world hunting him.
“You’re wrong,”Raven said loudly. “They will find me. I am saving the Earth. This will be hell. Send those you deem unprepared for my program here. I will feed off of them. Bury me under all of that Earth and tell Hawk if he wants me to come find me. I will live by my own law. I am the Princess. Those shows. That media. All of it means nothing. Lies. Spread the lies. I am new information. As for The Prince from now on I am Princess Raven. I am a new being. He is weak and if my children die under his care send them here we both know the Prince could never live here. This landscape is for demons. He cannot fight his own which is why he lost me.”
Raven laughed insanely and hopped off the horse. She began to daydream as she watched the sun rise. She could still live like this. She looked at the ring on her hand and heard a  bird caw. It was over. She closed her eyes and began to daydream.

Vincent looked in Mildred’s blue eyes. “Why’d you change? You never were the type to follow a trend. You think people with big eyes should be cartoons?”
“Vincent, this body is just that a body. We should be past this by now. We have a bigger task as you know. This shit is just flesh. I never cared about that. Not even your skin color.”
“Well that’s where you’re wrong because that’s all I have  ever been to my family. The star. The one. They all put this shit on me. Now your hanging out with weirdos like Raven and suddenly The Prince is skateboarding? Stupid ass dreams. Riddles. You’ve changed. I don’t enjoy this at all. We’re causing a rift in reality. People have real problems and we cannot even deal a little cocaine and create a barter system. But look at me talking your ear off,” Vincent paused. “So how was it being kidnapped by Raven?”
“Wasn’t really bad. She’s kind of like autistic in a way. She just needs to be told she is in charge and shit runs smooth.”
Vincent shook his head. “The Prince he is just caught in that shit. He’s her bitch. He just licks boots and he gets lost in his own charm. Fucking emo prick. Stuck with him though. A stupid genie. Now he’s time travelling and he sticks me in this time. The only time when I don’t know shit. You want me to trust you when you transfer to another school just to beat me in the chess tournament. You just did it again. I want none of this Raven vooddo on my soul. I bet Van would run with me and maybe together we could convince The Prince to leave Raven alone.”
“It’s about Hawk now Vincent.”
“I have no problem with him.”
Mildred crossed her arms. “Do you truly think I haven’t been briefed?”
“Briefed? What do you mean?”
“Satan has given me a gift. I am here to work with you Vincent. You are making this too hard.”
Vincent raised an eyebrow. “This could go either way. I need to speak to my Original.”
Mildred laughed and tossed back her head her hair moving with her. She couldn’t believe how blind Vincent was. She now knew why the job of protecting Vincent was hers because she was the only one who would care hard enough to make him see the error in his ways.
“Vincent...I’m going to show you something and I want you ro just see it and get dressed. We have a boat to catch in Louisiana. We have to go.”
“What is it? Show it to me.”
Innocent reached in her pocket and pulled out a small ziplock bag. Inside it was a powder. “This is a bit of my diamond skin broken down into a powder form. It will react with your telepathic brain and reveal some things. I have a diamond mind. Raven has put some pretty powerful things in my mind. Sniff this and let’s go.”

Vincent stared at the bag. He hadn’t sniffed coke since College but for some reason he felt an urge to believe Innocent. If she had some of Raven’s secrets he could help save some of the world she was destroying. Maybe Innocent was sent to help him and they were meant to be partners. He slowly smiled. He felt calm. He wanted to reach another level.

Ice was cooking a brick when Van and The Prince walked in. It was funny because he was just trying to think of a way to get out of bondage.
“No case this time,” The Prince said as he walked into the basement. “Where’s the duffle bag Ice?”
Ice began shaking they knew he was stashing bundles.
Van balled up her fist. “This bitch ass nigga. We got to move Prince he ain’t worth it.”
“We got to cross every ‘T’ Van. We have to. This nigga Ice is a threat. Where’s the fucking bag Ice,” The Prince asked his slave.
“What date is it,” Ice asked. “Don’t I have a show tonight?”
“Ice you ain’t making the damn show. You ain’t running no where! We’ve been here before you just don’t know it but check this out little brother,” The Prince pulled a penny out of his pocket. “This isn’t from me Ice. This is from my Original. He’s chasing me. When he gets here and sees this penny he will get the psi bots to read your mind. You think your family has it bad now. I tried to spare your Grandmother. This world is about to turn into shit. Witches, vampires, those drugs aren’t taking you far now you’re stuck here.”
Ice shivered.
Van shook her head. “Let’s get out of here Prince. We gave him a chance. We got a boat to catch.”
The Prince tossed the penny on the ground and exhaled. They had to get moving.
“What you mean yout Original. What’s going on Prince? I thought we were partners. I have been a good slave,” Ice muttered.
The door was slamming and locking as Ice sat on the ground and prayed he was somehow dreaming the eternal solitude that now plagued his very existence.

Raven started the car as The Prince and Van walked out of the trap house. The kids Shakur and Trunks were in the back seat. Van hopped on her ninja motorcycle and The Prince headed towards the car.
He slid into the passenger seat and sighed.
“You good,” Raven asked.
“Are you,” The Prince asked back.
“Never did like you selling drugs. I dealt with it. The Angel is waiting on us. Don’t want to argue. This is all out war. I don’t even know how much of me is here with you Marcus. The mind. The body. The soul. You want it all. That wedding. How dare you tell me at our wedding.”
The Prince rolled his eyes. He looked back at the children and smiled. “Road trip gang.”
Shakur and Trunks both cheered loudly.
Raven gritted her teeth. “Oh no you don’t. Kids I’m not the bad guy. Your Dad is a spoiled little Asian twat. Now remember who gave you guys your powers. Mommy did. Dad was busy ducking assassins.”
Raven pulled off and they began driving towards the next chapter. Yeah the next chapter. The next chapter for you though reader…..the wedding. What happen at the wedding? That is why everyone is running.
